December 23, 2010 - Model RB-9 is 7-axis robotic blasting machine adapted for metallurgical shot peening of root section of industrial gas turbine blades up to 36 in. long and 100+ lb. Fabricated in ¼ or ½ in. steel plate, 48 x 48 x 48 in. process enclosure is lined with bonded rubber sheeting, and other features include electrically operated jib hoist, shot delivery and reclamation systems, and automatically recharged 6.5 ft³ capacity pressure vessel with electronic shot flow monitor and controller.
